Goals
[edit]Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?
- Yes. We met our goals by reaching out to more audience a digital TV broadcast. We successfully engaged several Wikipedia contributors on Facebook, telegram and WhatsApp.
- We produced 8 episodes of video tutorials on Dagbani Wikipedia, Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons.
- All episodes were livestreamed on YouTube and Facebook and the recordings are now available on Wikimedia Commons.
- We recruited more editors to the Dagbani Wikimedia community through social media and the TV broadcast program.
- We got the opportunities to partner with NTV, Dagbon Youth Association (DAYA), Dagbani Students Association (DASA), Dagbon Clinic and the Dagbon Forum.
- We are excited to share that the Dagbani Wikipedia Saha was approved by the traditional leaders and chiefs of Tamale.
- We gained more followers on social media through the Dagbani Wikipedia Saha program.

Learning
[edit]Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well?
- * We learnt about the rudiments of modern day journalism presentation
- * We networked with different media houses and also idea pitching
- * We got lots of people following Dagbani Wikipedians User Group activities
- What did not work so well?
- * There were no subtitles on the screens as the program aired, making it difficult for those who don't understand Dagbani to follow the program
- * We were unable to cover more topics due the limited 30 minutes airtime allocated.
- *Some of the product crew like the director and the editor did not know much about Wikipedia so we had to teach them along the way.
- * We didn't meet our YouTube views target.
- What would you do differently next time?
- * Add subtitles for the benefit of those who don't understand Dagbani.
- * Increase the duration of episodes from 30 minutes to 45 minutes.
- * Train the production crew on Wikipedia before starting the program.
- * Promote the videos more on YouTube.
