Wikimedia Ghana User Group's Barcamp for Wikipedia
Barcamps are a user-generated conference (or unconference). It is an open, participatory workshop-event, whose content is provided by participants. Barcamp Ghana is a project being run by the GhanaThink Foundation, an NGO based both in Ghana and the USA. WIkimedia Ghana is leveraging on the popularity of this camp which has given the platform to recruit the best members we have yet, to recruit more en mass.
targetThe strategy is to headline Wikipedia but there will be sessions for the other sister projects.

Logistics
[edit]- A pre-registration platform which will allow participants create usernames (because of Wikipedia account creation restrictions)/ download Wikipedia app/ follow us on social media and use a generated code to pick up T-shirts from Impact Hub/iSpace/personal pick ups
- 1 registration desk on the day to just check-in pre-registered participants and give username tags
