We are planning on carrying out 6 editathon within 3 months.

2. How will you let your community know about the event? Please paste links below to where relevant communities have been notified of your proposal, and to any other relevant community discussions.

Participants will be notified through social media eg. Whatsapp on the following event. I have also sent the link of this project in the wikidata mailing list and and added it on the wikidata project chat. the link to the project chat is https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Project_chat

3. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead the event?

Some participants have the skills and equipment required, others will be thought and provided for during the event.

5. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?

We will keep in contact with participants through various social media apps comfortable to them. We will also be personally in contact with each other

We have 2 experienced editors. some people have laptops etc

What resources do you need? For your funding request, list bullet points for each expense and include a total amount.

  1. Food and Drink = $175 x 5 events = $875
  2. Hire of Laptop = $20 x 4 x 5 events = $400
  3. Data = $120 x 3months = $360
  4. Souvenirs (Wikimedia branded cups & plates) = $90

Total = USD 1725
