Grants:Project/MSIG/Igbo Wikimedians Community/Movement Charter Community Conversation/Report
Accepted
Please review the notes below before submitting your report.
Your draft implementation plan document should address the following questions clearly:
- What movement strategy initiative or goal are you addressing?
- What activities will you be doing to address that initiative?
- What do you expect will happen as a result of your activities? How do those outcomes address the movement strategy initiative?
The members of the Igbo Wikimedians community will now understand the topic of 'Movement Charter' and the Movement Strategy of 'Ensuring Equity in Decision Making' which will now serve as a guide and push for them to add their voices - as they will now understand that for the actualization of Equity in Decision making, members of the community need to add their voices so as to be heard.
- How will you measure or evaluate your activities? What tools or methods will you use to evaluate your activities?
Prior to the Online Conversation, a Pre-Event Survey was shared among the members of the Igbo Wikimedians Community to gauge their knowledge of the Movement Charter, the Movement Strategy Initiative and the 4 latest drafts. Their responses in the Pre-Event Survey was used to compare their responses in the Post-Event Survey which was also used to measure their know of the aforementioned and it is observed that there is quite a good change in their responses as the respondents through their various responses depict a good knowledge of the topics and were even able to share meaningful feedbacks.
To create a draft implementation plan, we recommend the use of a logic model, which will help you and your team think about goals, activities, outcomes, and other factors in an organized way. Please refer the following resources to develop a logic model:
- Overview of logic models on Meta-wiki
- Example logic models for reference for other movement activities (such as partnerships and edit-a-thons)
