The Wikipedia gab campaign is an initiative aimed at improving and expanding the representation of human rights topics on Wikipedia. The campaign seeks to address the underrepresentation of queering+ individuals, events, and organizations on the platform by encouraging editors to create and improve articles related to LGBTQ+ history, culture, and activism.The campaign recognizes that LGBTQ+ topics have historically been marginalized and overlooked in mainstream media and education. By focusing on these topics, the campaign aims to promote inclusivity, diversity, and accurate representation on Wikipedia.The campaign encourages editors to contribute by creating new articles, expanding existing ones, and adding reliable sources to ensure the accuracy and credibility of the information. It also provides resources and guidelines to help editors navigate sensitive topics and avoid bias or discrimination.Through this campaign, the campaign aims to create a more comprehensive and inclusive representation of LGBTQ+ history, culture, and experiences. By doing so, it hopes to provide a valuable resource for individuals seeking information and understanding about LGBTQ+ topics. After the campaign the guidelines would help supports new editors as it will be published online

Host Edit-a-thons for 2 days and 1day offline campaign where participants will come together to contribute to Wikipedia by editing and creating articles. The goal is to improve the quality and coverage of articles on LGBTQ topics set of topics. Day 1.Introduction and orientation: A first day will Start the program with an introduction to Wikipedia, its policies, and guidelines. Explain the purpose and goals of the ediathon. Training session: A training session to familiarize participants with Wikipedia editing tools, techniques, and best practices. Provide resources and guidance on how to find reliable sources and cite them properly. Editing session: Allow participants to start editing articles related to the chosen topic. Encourage them to improve existing articles, add missing information, and create new articles if needed.we will Provide assistance and support as required.

Day 2:Progress review: The event will Begin the day by reviewing the progress made on the previous day. Discuss any challenges faced and provide additional guidance if needed. Group collaboration: Dividing participants into small groups and assign specific tasks or articles to each group. Encourage collaboration and teamwork within the groups. Editing session: Allow participants to continue editing articles, focusing on the tasks assigned to their groups. Provide guidance and support as required. Day 3 offline campaign

Expert sessions: Invited subject matter experts will conduct sessions on specific aspects related to  human rights topic. This include discussions on notable figures, key events, and important concepts

Closing ceremony: Conclusion of the events with a closing ceremony where participants can share their experiences, achievements, and lessons learned. Recognition of outstanding contributions and provide certificates and tokens of appreciation. Encourage them to continue contributing to Wikipedia even after the program ends.This edit-a-thon aims of activating new users, raising awareness about Wikipedia and the content gaps that exist on the topics of LGBTQIA+ communities, especially in the Hausa context, and translate LGBTQIA+ related articles that are already in the English Wikipedia to Hausa Languages. Webinars and Online Workshops: I will Conduct webinars and online workshops to share knowledge and information with a targeted audience. The language sessions will be in Hausa language Platforms like Zoom, Webex, or Microsoft Teams provide tools for hosting virtual events and engaging with participants. Will also be used

We've informed the relevant community about the projects during monthly sessions online and they're excited about it and willing to work with our team The program creates an open and safe learning space with human rights team who are also part of the organized group where they provided us with skills (organizational,interpersonal ,grant related / learning & evaluation ...) with other peers to add value and contribute collectively to the community. The purpose is to further develop skills, share knowledge and promote human connections and mutual support between different groups and communities, in alignment with the Movement Strategy. The project will be announced to Wikimedia LGBTQ User Group mailing list, and each partnered organization will announce it on their various channels.

We want to learn how to provide a comprehensive and interactive learning experience that will equips participants with the necessary skills to contribute effectively to Wikipedia. We want to learn how the participants will join and contribute to WikiProjects, as well as engage with the broader Wikipedia community through talk pages, user discussions, and community forums. We want to learn how the participants will have a clear understanding of the concepts covered and can address any challenges they may encounter in Wikipedia during and after the events
