The Wikipedia for All campaign is a transformative initiative aimed at promoting diversity, inclusivity, and representation on Wikipedia, with a specific focus on underrepresented gender and human rights groups. Our primary objective is to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive online environment where diverse perspectives and experiences are valued and reflected.Currently, Wikipedia faces significant challenges related to underrepresentation, harassment, and lack of inclusivity, particularly for individuals with diverse gender orientations, gender identities, and expressions. These issues hinder the growth of diverse editor communities and limit the accuracy and comprehensiveness of content related to sexual and gender diversity. Our strategy revolves around targeted editor outreach and training programs, designed to empower marginalized communities and allies to contribute to Wikipedia confidently and safely. We will establish confidential support networks and secure online spaces to protect editors from harassment and bullying. Furthermore, we will partner with organizations advocating for human rights, diversity, and inclusion to ensure authenticity and cultural sensitivity in our content development efforts. To ensure the success of our campaign, the campaign developed inclusive content guidelines and resources, providing editors with the necessary tools to create comprehensive and accurate content related to diverse identities and experiences. Community engagement and awareness campaigns will also be crucial in fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding among Wikipedia editors.
