- 1. What is the change that you are trying to bring about and why is this important.
Podcasting is one means of telling engaging stories. What this project seeks to solve is by providing a space for members in the movement to tell their stories; known or unknown, individual or a group, organization or emerging communities.
The podcast as we always do seek to provide training and provide insights over the period, and we are looking forward to further engage this year again.
In our previous edition of our work we lead a lot of project thereby telling community engaging stories and also collaborated with other communities on how best they can advance their activities using wikipedia as part of their tools to engage community and beyond.
This year we still continue to tell amazing community stories, provide trainings and also help communities in running campaigns and their activities through their promotional work.

- 2. Describe your main approaches or strategies to achieve these changes and why you think they will be effective.
1. Partnerships: One of the key strategies the team and I would be looking at is partnerships with usergroups & non-usergroups. This is to enable as to increase our reach and also involve community and non- community members as well.
- 2. Communication: With communication as a strategy, we decided to involve other sub tools that would also increase our reach.
a. Social Media Engagement b. Distribution Service c. Channel for Recording
- 3. Community Engagement: Community engagement as a useful strategy, by partaking in projects and campaigns that will tell community stories.
- 4. Podcast tools Upgrade: We want to increase the number of tools and equipment we use for podcasting, which is increasing our Hardware & Software to aide us to do a good work.
- 5. Article Building List: Article building list as one of our strategies where we will ensure that we will make various list of articles available in terms of our partnerships.
- 6. Topics of Impacts: Topic lists that the podcast will focus on during interviews with speakers eg Climate: Triple Planetary Crisis and more.
- 7. Documentation of Process: We will make sure that our works are properly documented and structured on commons for usage.
- 8. Recruiting Newcomers: Through our podcast we will use the platform to recruit newcomers into the communities and share them among existing communities.
- 3. What are the activities you will be developing and delivering as part of these approaches or strategies?
1. International Podcast: International podcast day is a period for podcasting where any story in-terms of advocacy in the movement through story-telling can be made available to the movement.
- 2. African Wiki Challenge: Engaging in the campaign building article list and also hearing the diverse stories from various community members.
- 3. Fante Wikipedia: Engaging an emerging language community and the kind of impact they want to make in the community through their stories.
- 4. Pidgin Wikipedia: Also, we engage an emerging language group which is the Ghana Pidgin and how impactful and effective this language is going to be going forward.
- 5. WikiForHumanRight: As we did last year, we are going to do a better work by engaging more campaigns that is going engage in this project and the kind of impact they would have at the end of the day.
a. Wiki-GreenCon: As part of our activities of WikiForHumanRight, we have decided to engage Wiki-Green Con campaign and how they are making a difference in their engagement.
b. Climate Article Build Up: As part of our engagement with communities around wikiforhumanright we will be building articles for organizers who are running campaign under climate.
- 6. World Day Celebration: So for the movement and other communities of which were engaged in this project last year. This years world day celebration will be involving and engaging the world to tell interesting stories linking it to the movement and beyond. List of our international day celebration are:World Clean-up Day,Womens Day Celebration, International Podcast Day,World Pingolin Day,World Mangrove Day etc
- 7. AfroCine Project: Engaging participant and organizers who are engaged in running this campaign for years, in-terms of telling the African stories through movies

As a result of the Wiki Update podcast partnership with various usergroups in the ecosystem and beyond we seek to cover the space of providing article lists and also encourage contributors to contribute.
We are also engaging highly distinguished personalities on record who will provide us with details which will be essential for the community to use as a result of advocacy in order to close the content gap and beyond that.

As a result of telling stories around the movement and beyond our initial key focus was various wikimedia usergroup,emerging communities, language groups & more in the ecosystem but as result of changes in the movement coupled with other activities, we will also engage members who are outside the movement because our work do affect their activities in terms of research.
So people we are looking forward to impact are people in the Ghanaian community and beyond.

In our partnership and working with organizers when building pages like meta, we make sure that we enshrine the FPS/UCOC so that everyone can have the opportunity and space to operate and move freely.

We will inform participants and various communities through our active twitter and facebook handles and we will also share information and whatsApp and we willalso provide much insight on what we do on meta.

1. Wiki-Green Conference - As a result of our partnership with the organizers, we are king in telling the stories around the campaign and how effective the campaign is going to be as a result of the initiative which started last year, we continue to tell the climate story.
- 2. Abena.ai - A language voice ai community that we are looking at partnering and engaging them in their activities and see how their activities can have an impact on wikipedia and its sister project.
- 3. Open Foundation West Africa: Support us with reach and engagement with community members.
- 4. International Podcast Day (IPD): We will also celebrate the day in telling more stories in relation to the movement and beyond the movement and the team around that will be incharge of sharing our works on various social media channels.

I will be using the Spotify Podcast Analytics metrics tool to track activities, also as a result of partnership with usergroups and affiliate I would monitor the activtities as a result of impact on their dashboard.
Nevertheless, I will be also engaging partners outside the movement and see how Wiki Updates activities have been able to have impact on their project by collecting data from them.
