This project is particularly important because Kanuri Wikipedia as a new project (on Incubator) lacks vital articles. Most of the articles created on this Wiki are just created randomly. And every Wikipedia project most have some set of articles which are vital to the growth and rapid development of any wiki. We recognise the need for Kanuri Wikipedia to have such Vital Articles right from incubator so as to fuel motivation and inspire both readers and editors in reading and creating content on this local wiki. Since most of Kanuri Wikimedians can read and write in Hausa, we will use the created vital articles from Hausa Wikipedia and translate them to Kanuri Language. We will also work hand-in-hand with Uncle Bash007, who has previously successfully organised such campaign on Hausa Wikipedia in order to attain a positive result. https://ha.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Vital_articles 2. Our main approaches or strategies to achieve these changes are as follows • Most of Kanuri Wikimedians including experienced editors are not aware vital articles and there significance in leading to high page views from readers of this wiki • Most are not aware that they can write articles about their surrounding environment, places, arts and cultures, myths, geographies among others • There are little articles about Kanuri culture, geography; history, artists, writers, cities (ancient and current), arts and communities
