The Digital Landscape is an initiative which I started in 2022, with Folklores in Digital landscape 1.0 project, and 2023 with Didital Landscape 2.0 project, which has the pupose of engaging students at Universidade Rovuma to translate or produce knowledge in Emakhuwa through Makhuwa incubation Project and improve articles in Portuguese language about places and people from Mozambique. In this Digital Landscape 3.0, we intend to produce articles and/or improve 100 pages related to Mozambican female infleuntial figures who have a limited or have no page on wikipedia. I am aware that only "19% of all biographies on Wikipedia are about women" and while we cannot change this fact globally, we can contribute with 100 pages from Mozambique. These articles will also be translated into Emakhuwa through the Makhuwa incubation project. On top of that, we will enter these 100 names on the wikidata. Where possible we will take pictures of these influential people to add to wikicommons, and later dispplay on their pages.

I also have a group of 22 students who love wikipedia and join whenever we have to engate into a project. This group includes 16 male students and 8 female students. They can write both in Portuguese, so they improve articles in Portuguese, and they allso write in Emaklhuwa, so they can translate the articles into Emakhuwa through the incubation project.

9. Who are the target participants and from which community? How will you engage participants before and during the activities? How will you follow up with participants after the activities? (required)

Apart from the 22 students who are the cue participants, I have also trained Law students and History students who will be envited to join the project. These students will be responsible for improving or writing assigned articles/pages. While the 22 atudenmts wiil be assigned five articles to translate. As students, they are already working with the University, we have a venue and Digital landscape project is part of my extension activities with these group of students.
