The change we aim to bring through our participation in the 1Lib1Ref campaign is to enhance the reliability and validity of Swahili Wikipedia by adding references to educational related articles that currently lack proper citations. This problem is significant because many Swahili Wikipedia articles remain under-referenced, which affects their quality and reliability. Citations are essential for ensuring that Wikipedia articles are well-sourced and trustworthy, which in turn strengthens the credibility of the platform as an educational resource. Swahili Wikipedia entries have very few references, which makes them less trustworthy and educational. We hope that this initiative will decrease the amount of unreferenced articles on Swahili Wikipedia and enhancing a suitable citation culture within our community. These are just some of articles with little or no references at all [1]. Through this campaign, we hope to work with The University of Dodoma librarians, harnessing their citation and research experience. We want to involve at least two or three librarians from each of the university's colleges (The University contains 8 colleges) in our campaign. Each college has its own library. By doing this, we build a sustainable strategy for future interactions with the librarian community in addition to ensuring the provision of high-quality references to our Wikipedia.

These sessions will serve as a platform for continuous support, providing updates, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the librarians stay engaged and continue contributing to the movement. 3.
