Our 2025 activities are divided into three key areas: content campaigns, media campaigns, face-to-face events, and research. The full schedule of these events can be found on our event calendar (https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Thailand/Calendar_2025). The content campaigns will focus on promoting content creation through events like WikiGap, Wikipedia Asian Month, and the Wikivoyage Competition. Our media campaigns will include the continuation of successful competitions like Wiki Loves Earth and Wiki Loves Monuments, which have been running for over a decade. These competitions will help maintain engagement with existing participants while attracting new ones. Additionally, several on-site training camps, or Wikicamps, are planned for 2025, not only in Bangkok but also in Chonburi, following the success of the 2023 and 2024 camps. Camps will be our highlighted activities in 2025 and we aim to generate a lot of engagement and visibility from the general public. They will be hosted in collaboration with Chulalongkorn University and Chaing Mai University. More frequent photowalks will be organized. We will also provide more Wikimania scholarships to members of the Thai community. Research focusing on the consumption of Wikipedia medical content over time will be conducted. This work will result in at least two academic publications. In addition, we also plan to provide micro-grants to students’ clubs across academic institutions in the country to host Wikimedia events which align with the interest of Wikimedia Thailand and Wikimedia movement.
