- This project intends to digitize hundreds of old photographs and other memorabilia of Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) and utilize them in Wikipedia thru a series of scanning sessions, workshops on editing, and photo hunting and article writing workshops/contests.

- Project goal
- The goal of the project is to digitize and upload to Wikimedia Commons under a free license hundreds of black-and-white historic photograph of Central Bicol State University of Agriculture which will be celebrating its centennial in 2018. In 2004, the Research, Extension Production and Entrepreneurial Development (REPED) of the university began to digitize photographs of graduations, faculty members, school activities etc. for preservation. Some of the original copy and ditigized files of these photographs are now gone due to past typhoons that ravaged Bicol region in the last decade.
Measures of success

- We will consider this project a success if at least 500 old photographs and documents are successfully digitized and placed in Wikimedia Commons under a free license.

- PHASE 1 - Enter into a memorandum of agreement with Central Bicol State University of Agriculture on the release of these images under a Public Domain license.
- PHASE 2 - Conduct call for contributions to the CBSUA Historical Photographs Digitization Project and photograph scanning sessions.
- PHASE 3 - Hold a series of workshops on uploading of images and editing Wikipedia articles.
- PHASE 4 - Conduct uploading sessions and article writing workshops.

The project team is composed of the organizers and participants from Wikipedia Takes Rinconada in 2015 which gathered and uploaded a total of 1,933 media including 23 video clips.
