Stories about sharing
[edit]Interesting stories about applying the skills I want to share.
I have actively invited several newcomers to join the Wikimedia movement and helped train some of them on a personal basis. For example, I introduced them to Wikimedia Commons and provided hands-on guidance on how to contribute effectively, from uploading media to improving descriptions
Also, during my role as a Mentee for the IG Wiki Commons Hub, I had the opportunity to guide and support top monthly editors who joined us in the Mentees Hub. While I wasn't their mentor, I shared knowledge, clarified processes, and offered assistance on tasks they were unsure about. This informal guidance helped them navigate their roles more confidently. It was fulfilling to see how these small efforts contributed to their growth and my growth because in the process, I have gained more insights and experiences on Mentorship and I am willing to share this with others and mentor more people same way I was mentored.
