Stories about sharing

[edit]

Interesting stories about applying the skills I want to share.

1. Project Management;

My experience In 2019, I traveled to northern Nigeria and during my NYSC orientation camping in Katsina State I discovered that the camp had an estimate of 3000 youths from the 250 ethnic groups in Nigeria, and with this knowledge I initiated, planned, executed and monitored an anti drug project which engaged youth who were from the Eastern, Western, Southern, and Northern Nigeria on the dangers of hard drug and the possible ways out of it.

2. Building a communication Strategy to reach key stakeholders;

My strategy for this include, dialogue for mutual understanding, tolerance to accommodate individual difference, speaking in clear terms and language, reaching out to key stakeholders on time and as at when due, and effective representation of all key stakeholders

3. Volunteer Management and Development;

The key element involved in this are Planning, Volunteer Position Description, Recruitment/Public Relations, Screening and Placement, Orientation, Training, and Supervision
