Grants:Knowledge Sharing/Let's Connect Rapid Funds/Let’s Connect Peer Learning Program in Kwara
This peer learning program is a program that creates an open and safe learning space for selected wikimedians, who are also registered Let's Connect participants, to learn different skills: Organisational issues and access to funds, Programme tactics, Interpersonal skills, Skills related to Wikimedia projects.
Purpose
[edit]The Let's Connect Peer Learning Program in Kwara is aimed at training selected Wikimedians on specific Wiki skills and program tactics and also provide assistance for them to help them attend learning clinics. The program also aims at creating horizontal and flexible forms of learning amongst group members - people who have come together to learn the same skills and are driven by the same mission. It will also provide a comfortable and safe environment for different stages of learning: not only gaining knowledge, but putting that knowledge into practice, receiving constructive feedback, reflecting on what was learned, and making the learning process more socially connected and fun. Members will have increased skills and abilities through diverse formats and connections.

[edit]One-Sharer to Multiple Learners
[edit]Upon completion of our learning clinics, the team embarked on a delegated teaching approach where participants were divided into three (3) groups to hold four (4) one sharer to multiple learners connections so as to promote learning through empowerment. This indicates that each group of 4 learners worked collectively together and shared their skills within the Kwara Let’s Connect Peer Learning. On February 3, 2023, the first and second one sharer to multiple learners sessions for each group were held as a combined session. Zoom Breakout Rooms were used by each group for these sessions. On February 24, 2023, the third and fourth sessions followed the same structure. These combined sessions each lasted for 3 hours.
