Grants:IEG/Wiki illustrators
Project idea
[edit]What is the problem you're trying to solve?
[edit]Wikipedia and Wikimedia are great programs, however, we still rely on external sources to work on the illustrating of some articles. In the Spanish Wikipedia for instance there aren't many images because of the fact that many images are not accepted under the current policies. If it was possible in a comprehensive way to illustrate articles in need to be illustrated we could congregate many artists but we could offer them a more advanced way to do so.
What is your solution?
[edit]With some seed investment we could work on a more comprehensive way to tackle the dependance on external and free contributions by actually creating a way to do it ourselves.
Project goals
[edit]To determine the way to bring artists with a solidified style and guidelines.
