Budget change request

[edit]

Rationale

[edit]

We are requesting reallocation of a total of $5,525 (less than 10% of the total budget) originally allocated for computer rental, food and childcare at MOMA and node events. This money will be used instead as follows:

  • $1,000 for travel (airfare, AirBnB, food) to Montreal to present at the Sight and Sound festival, and McGill University and build Art+Feminism's key partnership with WM Canada
  • $500 for MOMA volunteer manager
  • $1,500 for Program Assistant for managing the node reimbursement process and assisting with metrics collection
  • $1,525 in additional costs for redesign following the web UX/UI review
  • $1,000 for web developer to perform maintenance of website's social plugins in preparation for 2016 events

None of the $5,525 is needed as a reserve for yet-to-be-collected reimbursements from node organizers. The only remaining mode events are the international payments, which take longer and whose funds are already encumbered and accounted for. Theredproject (talk) 06:49, 26 September 2016 (UTC)

Request approved

[edit]

Hi Theredproject, my apologies for my tardiness in posting approval on this. I honestly thought I'd already done it! I'm approving the change now. Marti (WMF) (talk) 19:09, 24 October 2016 (UTC)
