How can the various participants and stakeholders assess the impact of their contributions to the open ecosystem? How is it manifested at their institution? How is the value of the GLAM contributions reflected internally in the movement? How is it amplified at the policy level?
Showing hard data about Wikimedia contributions[edit]
Wikimedia Česká republika proposes counting links created in Wikidata for GLAM partners. To be able to showcase and present such data, better workflows and tools are needed.[1]
Work on stats tools to be able to show partners not only image views on the wikimedia projects but also downloads and use outside. Better stats not multiplying views when several images are used in the same article. Make it easier to see when users click through to large images to get user stories and end user usage. Being better at showing usage might lead to new collaborations.[2]
