Persona: Dylan, Wiki Loves Monuments manager
[edit]- Background: Dylan has been a Project Manager of Wiki Loves Monuments competition for more than two years. Their main task in running the photo competition (the largest photo contest in the world) is to communicate with the participants, local chapter organizational team, jury and the other stakeholders.
- Goals: Increase the engagement to the Wiki loves monument competition, help the newcomers to feel comfortable and aware of the competition and Wiki commons rules.
- Skills: Proficient in digital tools, high knowledge of Wiki commons and Wiki loves Monuments tools and rules.
- Challenges: There is limited time to support participants as the competition is only one month long. Typically, half of the participants to Wiki Loves Monuments are newcomers. Therefore, supporting the onboarding process and handling problems is more demanding. The judging duration is limited to one month to provide the top 10 photos from the national level to the international competition.
User Story: Using the Wiki Loves competition tool
[edit]As Dylan, the Wiki Loves project manager...
I want to see a tool with more detailed real-time information about the users, newcomers and photos uploaded day by day.
So that I can easily take that information to account and contact with the participants directly and share the feedback if there are any mistakes made as quickly as possible.
