Abstract
SPARQL at https://query.wikidata.org/ is the way to unlock data from Wikidata. The first steps with SPARQL can be challenging. This workshop will be to get people started with SPARQL. Make your first query. Set up an automatic updating list.
What will attendees take away from this session?
  1. Attendees will have taken the first SPARQL hurdle and are on a path to learn to do more things with SPARQL
Slides or further information

Would need a couple of people to support this workshop. Will figure that part out if this proposal is accepted and when it's clear who will be coming to the conference.

Special requests
Depending on who is coming to the conference and how many people it might make sense to split it up in two workshops: A beginners workshop to get started and later in the conference more like a help each other with SPARQL.
