- This activity will be carried out in conjunction with the WMB.
- Objective: Document and celebrate Brazilian folklore through photographs, promoting free knowledge and community engagement. Identify target folklore themes and regions, develop outreach materials, and establish partnerships with folklore groups. Organise training sessions on relevant photography and documentation techniques. Finalise partnerships, prepare online resources, set up communication channels for participants, and engage diverse communities. Promote the contest through social media, press releases, and collaborations with cultural organisations. Run the contest, provide support to participants, and organise the judging. Announce the winners, organise an exhibition (online or physical), and share the results with the community. Integrate Wikidata by creating items for folklore traditions and linking uploaded images.

Establish partnerships with groups and institutions, especially with Lusophone countries in Africa (Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, and São Tomé and Príncipe) and with institutions in African countries that have influenced Brazil. - Wiki Loves Earth (May-July):
- Objective: Photograph protected areas and other natural beauties, contributing to the knowledge and conservation of biodiversity. Identify natural heritage sites, focusing on those not yet in Wikidata. Develop outreach materials and establish partnerships with environmental organizations. Finalise partnerships, prepare online resources, and set up communication channels for participants. Promote the competition through social media, press releases, and collaborations with environmental organizations. Run the competition, provide support to participants, and organise the judging. Integrate Wikidata by linking uploaded images to Wikidata items for species and locations.
