English: The Wikimedia Foundation hosted a roundtable discussion about editor engagement in its San Francisco office on Saturday, June 22, 2013.
This first roundtable brought together a couple dozen community and foundation team members for a day, to improve Wikipedia's editor engagement tools with community participation -- and gain new insights from these conversations. Together, we discussed interactive workflows that editors use every day on Wikipedia -- as well as ways these workflows could be improved with software like the Echo notifications and Flow discussion tools.
In part 1 of this community workshop, we held a large group discussion about common workflows (e.g. content collaborations, reversions, deletions and gratitude). Note this particular video starts after an introductory presentation by Fabrice Florin, which was not recorded. We shot 5 hours of video footage of this event, and are breaking it up into 10 different parts, so they can be uploaded in smaller chunks to Commons.
