From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

On 21 April 2018, FII Wiki Project and Gaylaxy Magazine co-organised a Wikipedia edit-a-thon on Trans* Rights Activists of South Asia at India HIV/AIDS Alliance's New Delhi office. The edit-a-thon was aimed at creating/editing Wikipedia pages of trans* rights activists from South Asia who lack representation on the platform currently. The articles were created and expanded in English. Additional statistics can been seen on the P&E dashboard here. A report of the edit-a-thon is also documented on the FII website here.

A groups of students and young professionals are editing Wikipedia and creating and expanding articles on Transgender rights activists of South Asia.
