Event:WikiCon Australia 2024/Scholarships

[edit]A scholarship is a grant given to an individual to enable them to attend Wikicon Australia 2024 in person. Scholarships are available for Wikimedians within Australia.
Scholarships will be capped at a maximum of AU$600, with accommodation arranged and paid for separately by Wikimedia Australia. Those wishing to travel to Adelaide from other countries, should apply to the Wikimedia Foundation or their own Wikimedia chapter for travel funding.
Applications for scholarships are open from 30 June 2024 to 14 August 2024 (this has been extended). Please post a message on the help page if you have any questions.

Timeline

- 14 August 2024: Closure of Scholarship Application (this has been extended)
- 1 - 23 August 2024: Review of applications
- 24 August - 7 September 2024: Scholarship recipients are informed of the funding they will receive
Unsuccessful applicants will receive notification in September, 2024.
