WLF edit-a-thon is run by WikiDonne User Group (WDG) as part of the gender gap initiative across the Wikimedia projects. The campaign aims to celebrate fashion, with a focus on diversity in fashion, recognizing women and non binary people by focusing on enhancing their representation and visibility on Wikipedia, Wikiquote and Wikidata.
The impact of the Wiki Loves Fashion (WLF) campaign on Wikipedia has been quite awesome: 25 participants, 7 affiliates involved, around 1.000 between new articles in Wikipedia or new items in Wikidata created or edited in 8 different languages across the last five editions.
The WLF edit-a-thon will run from the 6th of September till the 22nd of October 2024
