Wiki For Climate Change 2024 in the Maghreb region - Algeria

The main goal of this campaign is to increase the number of active users in Algeria in Wikimedia projects by encouraging new users to participate in highlighting knowledge-related issues for a sustainable future through Wikimedia projects in local or international languages, in Wikipedias, Wiktionaries, Wikidata, and Commons.

The projects will focus on building the capacity of new users and improving their knowledge of climate change and the need for a sustainable future in a healthy environment through training workshops. editathons, webinars, and contests, which will be done with local volunteers and personal initiatives working on environmental rights: teachers, university students, Wikipedians, Wiktionnarists, photographers, etc.
