Wiki Loves Africa is organizing a training for its participants to guide them on how to upload files for the photography contest.
This training will focus on the basics of uploading on Wikimedia Commons and will consist of a demo upload. Participants are advised to have a computing device handy to aid participation.

Is the facilitator of the Wiki Loves Africa. He is a Wikimedian from Nigeria who has been actively involved with the movement via Igbo Wikimedians User Group. He is the community lead for a community for wikimedians interested in contributing free knowledge through Wikimedia Commons
About the training
[edit]The focus of the training session will be on explaining the different file formats accepted on Wikimedia Commons for audio, videos and images, understanding categories and the use of categories, understanding the importance of descriptions and showing hands on practical on how to upload files to Wikimedia Commons.

- The step-by-step processes of uploading files to Wikimedia Commons.
