The Knowledge Keepers: Repro Justice Cohort is a dynamic initiative dedicated to empowering Wikipedia editors and advocates for reproductive justice, hosted by WP:LATINOS. This event will provide hands-on training, expert insights, and a collaborative space to ensure reproductive rights are well-documented and accessible to all.

Join Us from May to June 2025! Participants will gain expert training in Wikipedia editing and content curation while amplifying accurate and inclusive information on reproductive justice. This cohort provides a unique opportunity to connect with a passionate network of editors, advocates, and scholars. By joining, participants will help bridge knowledge gaps and uplift marginalized voices, ensuring reproductive justice is well-represented and accessible to all.

Event Details

After remote sessions lasting about six weeks, we will meet in Phoenix, Arizona, for an in-person hands-on training experience.

  • Date: May–Jun, 2025
  • Hosted by: WP:LATINOS
  • Format: Interactive workshops, expert panels, and hands-on editing sessions
  • Stipends: Participants will receive a stipend for attending the course to cover their travel expenses for the convening in Phoenix, AZ.

Course Overview

The course includes six interactive virtual sessions, followed by an in-person convening to develop a tool to address the reproductive gap and newcomers' experience on Wikipedia, followed by two virtual sessions to finalize articles

  • Introduction to Wikipedia’s community guidelines.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and citing reliable sources on women’s health and reproductive rights.
  • Learn to create, improve, and maintain high-quality articles on reproductive rights.
