Wiki Loves Africa is organizing a training for its participants to guide them on how to upload files for the photography contest.
This training will focus on the basics of photography and also there will be demo on how to make simple edits on an image to enhance the quality.

Dappa Solomon Ezekiel is a seasoned award-winning Documentary photographer from the Ancient Opobo Kingdom who joined Wikimedia in March 2023 and ever since he has contributed to Wikimedia Commons over 1,500 top-quality images and counting.
He won the Wiki Loves Folklore and the Wiki Loves Africa 2024 in Wikimedia Nigeria User Group and the Wiki Loves Africa Create of the WikiNiger Delta Network all in 2024.
He is a graduate of Computer Science from the Rivers State University Of Science and Technology, Now Rivers State University. He is a passionate photographer and a digital lifestyle designer.
His love and passion for culture and traditions led him to documentary and he started from his immediate community Opobo Kingdom ever since he has been an active contributor to Wikimedia open-source knowledge.
He has led the team of Wikimedia Nigeria User Group to Opobo Kingdom on AudioVisual Oral Documentation and has joined and attended many Wikimedia events and photo walks.

About the training
[edit]The training is focused at mastering the fundamentals of photography including: working with angles and perspective, capturing and manipulating light to create mood and atmosphere, editing and refining images to achieve the desired look.
