The 2025-2026 Art+Feminism campaign has launched! Read the campaign announcement and join us by pledging to organize your own edit-a-thon or by joining an A+F event.
A+F leadership, in alignment with our commitment to accessible practices and community care, are continuing to offer #NowEditingAF: Virtual Editing Tables and Community Hours. These online events are open to anyone who is interested in closing information gaps related to gender, feminism, and the arts on Wikipedia!
#NowEditingAF: Art+Feminism Virtual Editing Tables
Throughout our 2025-2026 campaign, we invite you to join us and other feminist editors at our virtual editing tables. This is a space where we connect with inspiring organizations and leaders doing transformative work and share their impact with our community. These sessions offer new editors the opportunity to learn Wikipedia editing skills and provide experienced editors a platform to collaborate and exchange ideas.
Join us to share knowledge, ask questions, and support one another in our collective editing journey.
Community Hours
Community Hours are interactive sessions where our global community gathers to share knowledge, build skills, and support one another. fevereiro | en | Community Hours: Centre A + iniva: Art+Feminism in Action Join us for a conversation with Art+Feminism event organizers Diane Hau Yu Wong and Clare Qualmann as they share insights from their recent A+F events. Diane led the Centre A - Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon, a multi-day program centered on amplifying BIPOC focused art institutions and grassroots organizations in so-called "Canada." The event was funded by a Wikimedia Foundation grant. Clare organized the Art+Feminism x iniva Edit-a-Thon on Palestine. The event was grounded in the ongoing genocide and scholasticide in Gaza, and used resources at the Stuart Hall Library as source material. Together, they’ll discuss their experiences planning these events, from ideation and funding to outreach and facilitation. The session will include a facilitated Q&A, and will be presented in English with live Spanish and French interpretation. |

VET: A Call for Feminist Artists: How Images Can Change the Internet You can't build a feminist internet without images that reflect that vision. For two consecutive years, illustrator and designer Bárbara Fonseca and communicator and wikimedian Flavia Doria have organized Ilustratona - an illustration marathon for Wiki projects aimed at bringing a feminist perspective to the process of illustrating bios of FLINTA personalities. Organized within Wiki Editoras Lx as part of the global #VisibleWikiWomen campaign, Ilustratona has partnered with Art+Feminism and has facilitated initiatives in three countries and two languages. During this session, facilitated by Bárbara and Flavia, participants will explore how gender biases shape the diversity and quality of images online and discover how art can be a powerful tool to build feminist counter-narratives within the context of Wikipedia. By engaging with the challenges and strategies specific to this event, participants will gain valuable insights and develop skills on how to approach and mobilize the artistic community in Wiki projects. |

This talk, facilitated by Art+Feminism’s Leadership Advisor Michaela Blanc, introduces the concept of "transnational data activism" as a political tactic, highlighting emerging forms of feminist resistance and activist strategies across Latin America. |
