Campaign information
16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence is an annual international campaign supported by the UN for the eradication of gender-based violence. Chapters and user groups in the region joined to collaborate by proposing to edit content in Latin American Wikipedia languages with a special focus on "Women Human Rights Defenders". In this space we will inform you about the activities and events that will be held from November 25 to December 10, 2023 inclusive. To the editing challenge we will add instances to collectively reflect on how to write about women defenders, their causes and contexts from a gender perspective based on a Human Rights approach. We invite you to participate!
