Egypt Wikimedians User Group/WikiGap Egypt 2020

In cooperation between the Initiative of Wikipedian Light of Knowledge, Wikipedian Editor Project, Embassy of Sweden in Cairo, and the American University in Cairo, Egypt Wikimedians User Group (EWUG) held "WikiGap Egypt Editathon", which aims to write and translate articles about Female scientists in medicine, biology, and virology. This editathon aims to increase women's medical content on the encyclopedia by attracting new users, raising awareness of women's participation, and bridging the gender gap. The editathon began on Monday, July 13, 2020, and lasted for 24 hours.
