The 18th edition of the Wikimania 2023 conference took place from August 16 to 19 at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Center in Singapore, bringing together over 3,000 delegates from 138 countries all over the world to honor the Wikimedians and volunteers who contribute to the Wikipedia project.

After eight months of hard work, Wiki Movimento Brasil finally launched WikiConecta, a MOOC developed entirely at Wikiversity. It is a free online course, designed to be carried out asynchronously and independently, with the aim of training educators to use Wikipedia, and other Wikimedia Projects, as pedagogical tools in university extension courses.
