Abstract:
After the introduction of the host, who will present several case studies from the experience of the Wikimedia Polska education team (the Wikiszkoła program, the Wikiteka project, the EtnoWiki initiative, and others), we will discuss what resources we see in ourselves and how we look at the resources of the other party we want to cooperate with. How to establish a good relationship, also outside the project, so that the action is not a one-off? How to build a positive association about Wikipedia, but also about us - Wikipedians? We will perform a short exercise in thematic subgroups. By adjusting the imagined or known conditions, competences, people according to the environment of operation (primary/high school, university, local community [activists, regionalists, archivalists, etc.]), we will consider with the host what wiki action has a chance to actually be implemented, and what should be better modified or move to other educational areas.
