Utilization of Wikimedia in Lessons

Abstract/description

Wikimedia projects belong in education hence it is strategic to promote these open educational resources among teachers and engage them in our movement. Wikimedians who are teachers by profession have a great opportunity to impart to their colleagues and students how valuable Wikimedia is as a free resource and as a platform to share useful learning materials. Academic institutions can serve as a venue to clarify misconceptions and apprehensions about the utilization of open educational resources.

This session will serve as a venue to impart educational initiatives in the Philippines that can resonate to communities in ESEAP and beyond.
