Learnings
[edit]- Organizing the event - As COT member of this conference, I contributed various aspects during this conference, and got brief experiences of what to expect during conference. Hope this experiences can be used for future regional conferences and/or possible events hosted by us.
- Freedom of Panorama (FOP) - Each country has its own issues with panoramic freedom. There are many efforts in this region to get the rights related to it.
- Japanese community - Survey shows how contributors are being distributed, initiatives by 70 year old Liberian, how Eugene can archived the work in the his university.
- Mainland China - There are significant amount of contributors in that region - but HOW we reaching them as Hub or WMF?
Alongside three highlights, Youngjin was able to see unique examples of activity in different countries.

Plans after the conference
[edit](from what was learned or contributed in the conference)
- Planning East Asia sub-regional collaboration with Wikimedia Taiwan and Japanese user group.
- Promoting regional-collaboration within my community.
- Try to look over the strategies related to concerns/suggestions raised for Korean community, implementing some useful initiatives from other countries.
- Due to program conflicts and duties had during conference, I couldn't join the all sessions that I interested during conference such as Asia month. Might want to review those presentations once they are uploaded.
