Mogilefs
[edit]Mogilefs is interesting, but has a few disadvantages that make it unsuited for Wikimedia:
- It has no support for multiple datacenters
- It's written in Perl (slow)
- It's badly documented
- It uses an in-memory database (mysql-cluster), which means that it requires a lot of memory with large amounts of objects
