Points
Points are a self-reporting and trust-based system. It is participants' responsibility to record their actions. You get points by improving (writing, expanding, translating, usage of files) Wikipedia articles. Each participant's goal is to gain as many points as possible.
In Wikipedia
10 points: Creating a new article that did not exist in Wikipedia before (at least 3,000 bytes)
5 points: Improving an existing stub article with text or usage of files (at least 3,000 bytes)
5 point: Creating a new "stub" with text or usage of files (less than 3,000 bytes)
In Wikidata
1 point: Adding any referenced statement to the Wikidata item
1 point: Adding either a language label or description to the Wikidata item (2 points if you add both)
Any Wikipedian with an user account on any wiki can participate. To participate, sign up on the Participants section.
