A challenge to write/improve 1,000 articles about Yoruba Monarchs on Yoruba Wikipedia.

This contest is centered on Yoruba monarchs in Yorubaland. A monarch is a sovereign ruler, especially a king, queen, or emperor. In Yorubaland, there are numerous monarchs, both past and present, who are notable but lack adequate content on Yoruba Wikipedia. The primary objective of this contest is to enrich content concerning Yoruba monarchs, focusing on their works, relevance, and contributions to society.

Rules

  • All article written during this contest must be of quality.
  • Contestant contributors must not use google translator to write article (avoid google translator).
  • If you are improving existing article, make sure the article content is more than %80
  • Use of appropriate tone-mark is a plus for an article to score higher.
  • All articles are expected to be free of copyright issues and plagiarism, multiple articles found with problems may result in being disqualified from the contest.
  • Kindly reference all your contributions for quality checking. You can also expand references for articles that are lacking references.
  • To be eligible to win prizes, participants must demonstrate that they've written at least 10 articles.

Prizes

Youruba Wikimedians User Group have kindly approved a 50,000 for prizes in the form of Shoprite Gift Card. To be eligible for prizes in any of the categories, you must have written at least 10 articles to be eligible.

If anybody is interested in further contributing to the prize fund and putting up a reward for quality work or a particular area of interest they want to see improved email Mikaeel Sodiq.
