How do you work with content partnerships today?
More GLAM focus for TW, Art space, started last year. Organizing data about art and artists. Preparing for having to close down physical space by adding to virtual space.
Helping TW government to add data about rivers and water to Wikidata.
What is your normal work process in collaborations with partners?
No tools used for the previous projects as they were not that big. Manual data upload was enough.
Tools used for a previous project adding library data.
Are you having a work plan for new partnerships and collaborations?
Each project is fairly different.
Art space: First step was to get partner to “give up” dream of having everything added to Wikipedia. Moving on to getting data to Wikidata worked better.
Working with uni course to build up trust and to have data added to Wikidata.
What are your desired content partnerships in the future?
Types of institutions: Gov or NGO. Have worked with Ministry of culture, some recommendations comes from them on further collaborations. Working with some indiginous languages groups. Already have a lot to do so not looking for further collaborations.
What are your needs for a successful partnership?
Most partnerships are gov. Some have asked for academic case studies in order to keep working. Good academic case studies would help in lifting the value of collaborations. Some collaborations need to be restarted with the help of academic papers and well written case studies. Some GLAMs does not consider Wikipedia a good partner, and are holding back content and collections.
There are already a lot of community contributions and GLAM papers, but still lacking academic papers on the value of content partnerships.
What does the best support look like for a successful partnership?

Have not used tools that much, some are not useful, some data are too complicated and do not fit in the Wikidata models. Too much mapping needs to be done. Chinese grammar does not fit for automatic tools. Not only related to Wikimedia tools but also outside of the movement.
WMTW have incorporated CC TW and are promoting CC licenses. As museums are new the artwork is still under copyright, making it hard to release material.
Other questions or suggestions for persons who would be interested in discussing these issues?
Most TW people only know Wikipedia, and not other projects. “Wiki” means “Wikipedia”, making it hard to generate a greater understanding of the other Wikimedia projects.
