1. Experiences and best practices from earlier work with content partnership?

Software development, they have technical expertise and resources heading software department community communications and technical people who can do some of the work UX researchers with bigger partners the three groups work together

Also have GLAM team who support partners, data etc (I think they don’t do the imports themselves) Organisations go to Wikimedia Deutschland, To make sure data is broad and diverse they are proactively seeking out partners, have a list of criteria

Smithsonian: Help them understand what they want to do Directory of freelancers who help them do the work Build software that helps lots of orgs Help to create communities, Wikibase user group LD4, libraries in general asking for things to use Wikibase

2. What are the main needs in future and expanding work with partners?

Working on a cloud version of WikiBase

Organisations having their own Wikibase instance


3. What would a good and efficient support practically look like?

The connect them to the telegram channel or user group, resources,

They only work with ‘flagship partners’, that have an existing community and technical resources.

They are having market research done to understand if there is competition for Wikibase OCLC
