Description

Update from User:JWheeler-WMF: I've archived this wish because, as the talk page illustrates, there are mechanisms to appeal a block. Still, this wish is a good reminder that communities (and product) could implement better structures to support newcomers who need more support in making constructive edits.

We make more or less mistakes along the way in life. And understand it again later. Now coming to the real point when I come to the new Wikipedia. I did not know about so many rules then. As a result many mistakes have been made. And because of this mistake my account has been blocked.

As a result I am no longer able to work on English Wikipedia for an indefinite period of time. I admit I made a mistake, and I'm learning from it. And don't give a chance to those who work on Wikipedia like me. Then I can't go forward.

My request: Make such a system. So that users who have misunderstood can be allowed to work on Wikipedia again.

Affected users

This change will most affect students and educators. As they rely on Wikipedia for research and assignments, any alterations in content policies or access may hinder their ability to obtain accurate information, impacting their studies and teaching.
