Through the Women* Train-the-Trainer, we aim to gain valuable insights into the most effective strategies for empowering women and gender-diverse individuals to become leaders and trainers within their communities, which can be adapted in different regions of the world. Specifically, we hope to learn:
1. Approaches to Addressing Barriers: We want to better understand & address the challenges faced by underrepresented groups in accessing and contributing to open knowledge platforms, and identify effective methods to overcome these barriers.
2. Impact of Localized Training Models: Observing how contextually tailored training methods resonate with participants, we seek to refine our approach to make future programs more inclusive and impactful.
3. Sustainable Mentorship Practices: We aim to evaluate the post-event mentorship and community support systems in sustaining participant engagement and fostering long-term knowledge-sharing practices.
4. Building a Stronger Network: We are committed to creating a robust support network that provides sustainable, long-term assistance to women aspiring to take on leadership roles and lead their own projects. Ultimately, this project will provide critical learnings on designing and implementing scalable initiatives that promote inclusivity, gender equity, and knowledge equity in India and beyond.
