As mentioned in [1] , Wikimedia knowledge sharing workshop with key project scope being Wikipedia, Wikisource, Wikiquote and Wiktionary in Kannada and other languages such as Tulu etc,. To equip students with skills in managing and editing digital content, understanding open-source contributions, and navigating collaborative platforms. Foster Community Engagement by connecting students with the global Wikimedia community and encourage active participation in knowledge-sharing initiatives. The proposed wiki knowledge sharing program offers a unique opportunity for students to gain practical experience while contributing to a global knowledge-sharing initiative. We believe this program will enhance students skills, foster community involvement, and strengthen engagement with the Wikimedia movement. We look forward to discussing this proposal further and exploring the potential for implementation.

Conducting 8 to 10 offline workshop and 12 online meetups for Using Templates Infoboxes in Kannada Wikipedia and wikisource, introduction to Wikiquote and Wiktionary, this will also helpful for community members of Tulu Language communities (Tulu wikipedia, Tulu wiktionary in Incubator, Tulu WIkisource also in Multilingual wikisource wiki) in Mangalore-Udupi region.The Kannada Language Workshop plans a series of activities focused on enhancing knowledge and participation in various Wikimedia projects. 

Key events include: 

1. One-day Workshops in December at: 

  • - Vijaya College, Mulky - Wikisource 
  • - Canara College - Wikisource 
  • - Community meetup on template training 

2. January Workshops at St. Aloysius College: 

  • - Follow-up for Wikisource 
  • - Template and Infobox training 
  • - Introduction to Wiktionary 
  • - Introduction to Wikiquote 

3. February Follow-up Workshops at: 

  • - Mangalore University 
  • - Govindadas College, Suratkal 

4. Online Community Meetups covering Wikisource, Wikiquote, Wiktionary, and Wikidata, with a total of 12 Google Meet sessions scheduled from December to March.Overall, the workshops aim to engage the community in contributing to Kannada-language Wikimedia projects through both in-person and online sessions.

Community members were informed through Kannada Wikipedia Whatsapp group and asked to make requests for workshops at [2], conducted regular online meetup on October 1 and october 12 to discuss implementation of project.
