China-Serbia Cultural Exchange Program
February 1 - March 1, 2021

China-Serbia Cultural Exchange Program is a cooperative project between Wikimedia Serbia and Wikimedians of Mainland China, which are organizing an online edit-a-thon which will gather Serbian and Chinese language communities on Wikipedia in order to strengthen the partnership between them. Participants will write and improve articles on everything related to China or Serbia, respectively, including culture, nature, society, sports, politics, transport, history, science, education and notable women. The project will start on February 1, 2021, and will last until March 1, 2021 at 23:59.

The goals are: increasing of free content on various topics and also collaboration between communities. Each community is invited to create a list of needed and suggested articles for writing or improving. The event will be online considering the current circumstances and it will last for a whole month. We invite you to join this project and write new articles or improve the existing ones. Each participant will get a barnstar, and we have a surprise for the best ones.

Rules for the participants on Serbian Wikipedia:

The edit-a-thon starts on February 1, 2021 and lasts until March 1, 2021.
Anyone can join at any point during this period by leaving their signature on the event page.
New articles related to China can be created and the existing ones can be improved,
Each participant who creates at least one article will get a barnstar after the end of the edit-a-thon.
