The Centre for Internet and Society’s Access to Knowledge (CIS-A2K) team is organizing a short informational call to inform and engage Wikimedians interested in joining key committees within the Wikimedia movement.

Purpose of the Call

The call aims to provide insights into the roles and responsibilities of the following Wikimedia committees and discuss opportunities for involvement:

• Affiliations Committee (AffCom)
• Ombuds Commission (OC)
• Case Review Committee (CRC)

Each year, from October through December, these committees seek new volunteers to join and contribute to their important work. This session will be an opportunity for Wikimedians to learn more about these roles and ask questions.
