CIS-A2K/Events/Online session with technical group on Lexeme project
CIS-A2K and partner organisation, Jnana Prabodhini have mobilised a group of language enthusiasts, all are women (@40) from four places in Maharashtra. The group is involved in recordings on Lingua Libre, recording of Wikisource audio books and preparing lexeme datasets. The work is in progress for the last 3 months, everything online.
The lexeme project group has developed excel sheets with all forms for verbs initially. The total verbs listed are @800. The members have distributed the verbs and are adding the forms as per the instructions. The similar lists for nouns, adjectives and pronouns are also in progress. The plan is to record these lists on LL once finalised.
After the session with Mahir Morshed and Bodhisattwa, a separate group of technical persons/software experts was formed to support in future course of action. The introductory session on Wikimedia projects with specific focus on Wikidata lexicographical structure was conducted on 14 March between 4 to 6 pm for this group. Total 6 persons attended the sessions.
