Purpose of the Event/Activity
[edit]In Tamil Wikipedia, approximately 1,200 articles had been created through 'Google Translate' in the year 2010. Few articles were by reviewed and updated by active editors during that time. But, large number of articles were unattended for nearly 12 years without any curation.
During the month of September 2022, a movement was initiated for the curation of these articles. Total number of articles to be improved has been reduced from 1,048 to 760 in 28 months of time through online events and an in-person edit-a-thon event.
In order to expedite cleanup and improvement of these articles, this 2-day edit-a-thon event has been planned.

- Review the results of strategy applied during Edit-a-thon event in September 2024.
- Redefine the strategy if needed, and apply in execution during the event.
- Proceed online drives based on learnings from the event.

Remaining 72 articles will be handled online during the second quarter of the year (April, May and June 2025 months). The entire project will be closed on 06-July-2025 with a retrospective report
