An atheist who does right with no hope of reward is more moral than a Christian who does no wrong for fear of being punished.

Correction* Some who call themselves “Christian” may be motivated to do good works for a fear of divine consequences, hoping that they will not be punished.

Real Christians do not fear being punished because Jesus Christ died on the Cross to pay the sin debt of all who believe and are guided by love, faith, and a desire to follow God's direction to do good which Jesus Christ left for Christians to do.

Hebrews 10:10 And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
