تطوير وتحسين مقالات علي ويكيبديا الانجليزية عن البيئة في الدول

عندما نقوم بتحليل المقالات المتعلقة بالبيئة في ويكبيديا الانجليزية ندرك ان عدد مقدر من الدول الافريقية ليس لديها مقالات متخصصه عن البيئة، وفي حال انه هناك مقال نجد ان المقال هو في الحقيقة لا قصير ولا يحتوي علي الكثير من المعلومات مثلا مقال عن البيئة والمناخ في نيجيربا. في عدد كبير من الحالات فان المعلومات عن البيئة والمناخ عن الدول هي في الحقيقه عبارة عن فقرة صغيرة كجزء من مقال الدولة الرئيسي او في جغرافيا الدولة كمثال مقال جغرافيا توقو . في عدد قليل من المقالات عن الجول الافريقية نجد انه لاتوجد اي مقالات علي الاطلاق عن المناخ والبيئة الخاص بالدولة مثلا مقال بروندي.

بمقارنه المقالات الخاصة بافريقيا مع مقالات في اجزاء اخري من العالم التي تحتوي علي معلومات تفصيلية عن المناخ والبيئة. مقال المناخ في الولايات المتحدة او المقالات المتعلقة بالمناخ والتغير المناخي واثره علي الدول مقال التغيير المناخي في فرنسا

We then suggest that after the month of March, most African countries would benefit from an article about their climate and/or about climate change. You may find below a table to help you identify the gaps. Please create climate articles, or improve the current stubs. You may use the resources provided listed in that page to help you. Please note that we do not have participants from all countries... so please feel free to ADOPT a country (beyond yours...)

Creation (or improvement) of French Wikipedia articles Climate in CountryX

When we analyzed the content of French Wikipedia articles, we realized that only two African countries had an article dedicated to climate (namely Climate change in Senegal and Climate of Maroc). In the vast majority of cases, information about a country's climate is less detailed in the country's article. But in the article Geography (see Geography of Algeria), the paragraphs are more detailed. In any case, there is almost no information on the climate of French-speaking countries.

In comparison, many countries of other parts of the world have a very detailed article about the climate of their country (check Climate of the United States), or on the impact of global warming in their country (check Global warming in the UK).

We then suggest that after the month of March, most African countries would benefit from an article about their climate and/or about climate change. You may find below a table to help you identify the gaps. Please create climate articles, or improve the current stubs. You may use the resources provided listed in that page to help you.
